Core Colloquies

The Core faculty offers periodic student-faculty colloquies—evening conversations about Core texts and some of the issues they raise—for any Core students who wish to go beyond classroom considerations in exchanges with faculty and students from other Core sections. (There are around 40 sections of Core, with approximately 20 students apiece, in any given year.) These completely voluntary gatherings provide a comfortable, informal setting for further exploration of texts that are notably challenging, interesting or timely.
