Academic and Professional Activities:

Dr. Brown has published articles and delivered papers at international and national conferences dealing with early literacy, reading recovery and teacher preparation. She is currently writing a book in the area of children's literature on teaching with picture books. Visiting lectureships have occurred at the College of St. Paul and St. Mary in Cheltenham, England and Auckland College of Education, Auckland, New Zealand.
